With funding from the National Science Foundation, the Pennsylvania Science DMZ invites applications for an interdisciplinary research initiative connecting faculty and students across institutions. This program aims to engage students with backgrounds or interests in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning in meaningful research collaborations that advance faculty-led projects. The goal is to build utilization of the PA Science DMZ and further the NSF grant outcomes.
Projects should be 3-4 months long and completed by December 2026. Selected students will receive up to $3,000 in funding for their participation. Faculty mentors will provide guidance and project-based learning experiences to help students develop applied research skills while contributing to ongoing scholarly work. Find out more
