I graduated as Valedictorian from Blacklick Valley High School, earning the highest honors in mathematics and science. During this time, I also completed an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, which helped me build a strong academic foundation.
I have a long-standing interest in data analytics and predictive modeling, especially within sports analytics. My recent projects include analyzing wind and weather patterns across the United States, in addition to analyzing MLB pitch-by-pitch data. Both these projects combined exploratory data analysis with machine learning to uncover trends and predict future outcomes.
Through my academic and independent work, I have developed the tools needed for research in data science, including data collection, cleaning, exploratory analysis, modeling, and visualization. My toolkit includes Python and R, with the use of various Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, XGBoost, Matplotlib, and Altair. I also have experience working with Jupyter Notebooks, Linux systems, R Markdown, MySQL, and AWS Cloud.
I am seeking opportunities to contribute to data science projects, particularly those guided by experienced mentors, where I can continue developing my skills while contributing meaningful insights.
