Kitsune

Description

Kitsune is an HPC cluster featuring the AMD EPYC 9965 processor. The cluster consists of 160 compute nodes and 2 login nodes, each with dual socket CPUs with a total of 384 CPU cores per node. Standard compute nodes feature 768 GB of DDR5 RAM, while large memory nodes contain 1.5 TB of DDR5 RAM. The system is capable of delivering more than 500 million CPU core hours per year. Kitsune also features a 6 PB GPFS file system. Compute nodes are connected via a 400 Gbps NDR Infiniband network.

RP Description

AMA27 is a compute cluster consisting of 312 ARM nodes, each with one AmpereOne A192-32M processor (192 cores) and 384 GB of DDR5 RAM, connected by 200 Gbps NDR InfiniBand to a 5 PB GPFS file system. It is particularly well suited for traditional HPC simulations, bioinformatics, statistical analysis, and ML and AI inference. AMA27 is in pre-production, so usage and software data are not yet available.

Storage Text

AMA27 has a 5 PB GPFS file system. SBSC has not yet published storage paths, quotas, or purge and backup policies; they will be added when the cluster is deployed.

Jobs Information

You can run jobs at different sizes and durations on AMA27. The following lists the different queues that you can submit to, describing how many nodes you get, how long you can run, the type of resources you get, and the average wait time.

Jobs are submitted through Slurm. AMA27 is in pre-production, and SBSC has not yet published its queue names, limits, or defaults. They will be added here when the cluster is deployed. See [AMA27 Documentation] for updates.
